Project Scheduling and Planning

• Developing Project Plans: Create comprehensive project execution plans, identifying key milestones and sequences of activities. This includes setting targets for each task to ensure they meet the client's specifications, such as those from Dubai Municipality (DM).
• Resource Management: Evaluate the allocation of resources, including manpower and equipment, to ensure they align with the project schedule. The planning engineer provides recommendations to maintain progress and avoid delays.
• Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to the project team and client, assisting in tasks like preparing cost estimates, drafting proposals, and writing technical reports.

Monitoring and Reporting

• Progress Tracking: Continuously monitor the day-to-day work progress, tracking schedules and timelines to ensure the project is on track.
• Performance Analysis: Use specialized software like Primavera P6 and MS Project to compare planned progress against actual progress. This analysis is crucial for identifying any deviations or potential slippages.
• Generating Reports: Prepare and present accurate weekly and monthly progress reports for senior management, the Resident Engineer, and other stakeholders, highlighting any potential delays and proposing solutions.

Risk Management and Mitigation

• Identifying Risks: Actively identify potential risks and issues that could impact the project schedule, such as non-conforming materials or resource constraints.
• Developing Contingency Plans: Formulate and implement action plans to recover from any schedule slippages and mitigate risks.
• Claim Analysis: Assist in the analysis of contractor claims to ensure they are appropriately addressed and responded to.
