The Construction Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling of construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion. This role involves coordinating with project teams, optimizing resource allocation, and mitigating risks to maintain project efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to plan construction activities efficiently.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze resource requirements and optimize manpower, materials, and equipment usage.
  • Prepare progress reports and risk assessments for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Utilize planning tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project for scheduling and tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality guidelines.
  • Work with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing planning insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Implement risk management strategies to address potential schedule disruptions and cost overruns.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in construction planning, scheduling, and project management.
