Planning Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager to manage and control production planning activities in a garment manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production flow, on-time delivery, and efficient resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage production plans based on order requirements and delivery timelines

Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, sourcing, and production departments

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules

Track material availability and follow up with the procurement team

Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower, and capacity

Analyze production data and generate planning reports

Identify production risks and implement corrective actions

Maintain compliance with quality and safety standards

Work closely with factory teams to meet shipment deadlines

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes

Expertise in production planning and control (PPC)

Good communication and coordination skills

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems

Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
