Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure all supply chain and production commitments are achieved.
- Develop and maintain material and capacity strategies for all phases of business planning.
- Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Logistics to align forecasts, capacity, and order fulfillment goals.
- Ensure all proposed programs include accurate budgets, schedules, and make/buy plans prior to execution.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain program execution, including resource planning, forecasting, risk management, and supplier performance tracking.
- Develop and maintain production plans and schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize lead times.
- Maintain capacity models for both current operations and long-term strategic planning.
- Oversee and guide project teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables, adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with domestic and international manufacturing sites on production sourcing and material planning.
- Plan and coordinate the timely sourcing of raw materials based on purchase orders and sales forecasts.
- Work closely with Operations to align staffing, production, and logistics needs.
- Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive contingency planning.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing (mandatory) within supply chain, production planning, or program management.
- Strong understanding of procurement, manufacturing, and subcontractor execution workflows.
- Experience with integrated planning and production management systems.
- Knowledge of production line setup, scheduling, and process optimization.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proven success in managing complex, multi-site projects from initiation to completion.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% (as required for plant visits within Virginia or nearby regions).
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $84,790.66 - $102,113.49 per year
