Planning section Head

  • Establishing and maintaining scheduling standards and procedures for the project.
  • Manage projects of complexity requires a team between 1 to 4 Persons.
  • Comprehend Project Critical Paths review it with operation, Procurement and management.
  • Perform the base line schedule and the assigned project resources in details for newly awarded projects including consistency of schedule, and matching company’s dictionaries.
  • Prepare Planning packages and enhancing the schedule before submission.
  • Supervise the project progress to verify that the updated schedule complies with the approved base line schedule and highlight critical issues and provide analysis to management staff.
  • Prepare and Review weekly, and monthly progress reports about the projects and provide input to management staff.
  • Issue and review close out report in coordination with the project team to be a reference for the company for the newly awarded projects.
  • Propose remedy plan to complete the project schedule to ensure that critical issues and assumptions are covered.
  • Issue and review the Schedule Narrative.
  • Ensure that the performance of various assigned tasks, and the conduct of Planning Staff within the project are in accordance with the Project Controls Department's policies and procedures.
  • Attend Weekly progress meeting with the client.
  • Prepare internal weekly progress meeting with site team.
  • Communicate with Project management Project risks, issues and mitigations required.
  • Prepare with all site team delay analysis for extension of time claims, recovery and revised schedules.
  • Acquire Departments approval signatures for the proposed schedules.
  • Handle related special assignments if required.
