Plant Engineer

Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in manufacturing construction chemicals and building materials — including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile installations, and concrete restoration. We are currently seeking a Plant Engineer to join our manufacturing team . In this role, you will support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations by coordinating maintenance activities, improving equipment performance, and assisting with capital and improvement projects. You will work closely with the group on equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements that help optimize production and support future business needs. This position is hands-on, practical, and key to keeping our operations running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily plant operations and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Track maintenance KPIs and assist with corrective and preventive actions.
• Communicate major equipment issues and updates to management.
• Help develop and share daily/weekly maintenance schedules.
• Support maintenance staff with equipment and facility upkeep.
• Apply best practices to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Support preventative maintenance and ensure work aligns with MAPEI standards.
• Assist with compliance requirements and monthly Safety Committee activities.
• Help manage maintenance parts inventory.
• Support capital projects, bids, contractors, and project updates.
• Test newly installed equipment to confirm proper operation.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
