Plant Maintenance-Staff

Reports To: Plant Maintenance Manager and Vice President (s)

Edit Holdings, LLC dba Tide Cleaners is seeking a Plant Maintenance team player to join our team!

We are seeking an enthusiastic leader that enjoys working with people and as a team to represent Tide Dry Cleaners brand to its highest standards.

• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Performing preventive maintenance.
• Handling general dry cleaning and laundry machines repairs.
• Diagnosing equipment mechanical issues and correcting them efficiently.
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
• Inspecting store locations, maintaining inventory, and scheduling repairs in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of proven maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Related degree from a technical college a plus.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
• Experience performing routine maintenance.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Eye for detail.
• Professional presentation and attitude.
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
• Dry Cleaning and Laundry equipment experience a plus but not required.

Shift and Schedule

• Monday to Saturday
• On call
• Weekends as needed

Work setting

• In-person
• Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Plant Environment
• Ability to commute all around Houston and surroundings
