Position Summary:
The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall operational performance, efficiency, and profitability of our private label bottle filling plant. You will play a pivotal role in managing seven distinct value streams, ensuring seamless production processes, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the plant meets production targets and operational goals.
  • Optimize efficiency across all value streams, identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to uphold product standards and meet client specifications.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to continuously improve product quality and consistency.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of production supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage plant resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to ensure optimal production levels.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
  • Implement and promote a culture of safety, training, and adherence to environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to understand client needs and expectations.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop and manage the plant budget, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement cost control measures without compromising quality or safety.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial management, business or related field is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of bottle filling processes, production planning, maintenance, and quality management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, 5-S).
  • Knowledge of cGMP, safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality assurance principles.
