Job Title: Plant Operator

Department: Operations / Production

Reports To: Shift Supervisor / Plant Supervisor

Location: Doha

Job Purpose

The Plant Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining plant equipment and processes to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. The role supports production targets while maintaining quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate and control plant equipment and systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

· Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow rates, and levels.

· Perform start-up, shutdown, and routine operational checks of plant machinery.

· Identify and report equipment malfunctions, leaks, or abnormal conditions.

· Carry out basic troubleshooting and assist maintenance teams during repairs.

· Ensure compliance with safety policies, permit-to-work systems, and PPE requirements.

· Maintain accurate shift logs, operational records, and reporting documentation.

· Handle raw materials, chemicals, or utilities safely as per guidelines.

· Respond effectively to alarms, emergencies, and process deviations.

· Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the plant area.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Diploma / ITI / Technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.

· 2–5 years of experience in plant operations (water treatment, HVAC, manufacturing, or similar).

· Basic understanding of plant equipment, pumps, valves, compressors, and control systems.

· Familiarity with safety procedures and industrial standards.

Pay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
