PLASTIC ENGINEER – JUNIOR (JR)Position Title:

Junior Plastic Engineer

Experience Required:

Minimum 3 years experience in plastic injection moulding industry

Working Hours:

9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday / as per company schedule)

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle daily plastic injection moulding production activities
• Set up and troubleshoot injection moulding machines
• Assist in mould installation, testing, and trial runs
• Adjust machine parameters to maintain product quality
• Monitor cycle time and reduce rejection rate
• Perform basic mould maintenance and cleaning
• Assist in repairing minor mould issues internally
• Work closely with production and quality team
• Maintain proper production records
• Ensure workplace safety and housekeeping standards

Important Requirement:

We open moulds in-house and perform small repair and maintenance work ourselves.
We do NOT send moulds to external mould makers for small issues.

Candidate must:

• Be confident in opening and assembling moulds
• Perform small repairs, cleaning, polishing, minor part replacement
• Handle mould maintenance independently

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of plastic materials (PP, ABS, PC, Nylon, etc.)
• Understanding of mould structure
• Basic knowledge of mould cooling, venting, and gating system
• Troubleshooting experience in injection moulding
• Ability to work under pressure

PLASTIC ENGINEER – SENIOR (SR)Position Title:

Senior Plastic Engineer

Experience Required:

Minimum 7 years experience in plastic injection moulding

Working Hours:

9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for moulding production and technical operations
• Lead mould trials and new product development
• Advanced troubleshooting of mould and machine issues
• Improve cycle time and productivity
• Reduce rejection and improve quality standards
• Guide and train junior engineers and technicians
• Handle mould modification and improvement work
• Plan preventive mould maintenance schedule
• Coordinate with management on production planning
• Control material wastage and optimize cost

Important Requirement:

We perform in-house mould opening and small repair works.
Senior Engineer must:

• Confidently open moulds independently
• Diagnose mould issues
• Perform minor modifications
• Replace inserts, pins, bushes, sliders, etc.
• Avoid sending mould outside for small repair works

Skills Required:

• Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding machines
• Deep understanding of mould design and structure
• Knowledge of hot runner / cold runner systems
• Experience in process optimization
• Leadership and team handling ability
• Strong problem-solving skills

Additional Notes (For Both Positions)

• Candidate must be hands-on, not only theory-based
• Must be willing to work extended hours if production requires
• Salary based on experience and capability
