Plastic Injection- QC Inspector- Auditors (3rd Shift)

JOB SUMMARY: Inspects, audits, and reports on materials, processes, and products using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company’s quality standards.

MINIMUM JOB DESCRIPTION REQUIEMENTS:

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Familiar with the plastic industry. Preferably prior quality experience

• Performs functions of rework inspection as directed by Quality Manager

• Read and address daily documentation from items on hold
• Notify manufacturing and quality when defective product is detected
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime when required, on minimum notice.
• Perform receiving or final audit inspection duties if needed or directed to
• Assist in the training of Production Personnel and/or others as directed
• Assist in the development and implementation of Quality Policies. Procedures and Work Instructions. This includes Visual Aids.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 30 pounds on a daily basis
• Must be willing to train to be able to cover for quality inspectors
• Assist Quality Manager in all areas as needed or directed.
• Complete Certificate of Analysis forms when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
