Plastic Surgeon

A Multi speciality medical center in Abu Dhabi is urgently looking to hire a DOH licensed Plastic Surgeon.

Plastic surgeons, with a DOH license as a Specialist or Consultant, can apply with their Cv.

The job description in brief:

• Provide a comprehensive reconstructive, cosmetic and corrective medical treatments to patients according to current best-evidence based standards, using best judgement.
• Assess, evaluate, diagnose ongoing treatment and clinical management, referral for consultation, care planning, medications/therapeutic orders and risk assessment.
• Direct contact with patient family members, friends, and others to ensure effective communication of care plans.
• Coordinate communication and planning with other surgical, medical, or primary care physicians.
• Work within the scope of privileges and competencies of the licensed role.

Minimum Experience

• 5+ years experience of reconstructive, cosmetic and corrective medical treatments at a specialist or consultant level.

Qualification Requirements

• Terminal degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent
• Certification: Board Certification in Plastic Surgery from the US, Canada, and UK
• License: DOH license (Abu Dhabi)

Experience Requirements

• 5 years post-board degree in Plastic surgeries with an exceptional track record of effective clinical care.
• 2 years sub-specialty in Breast reconstruction and reconstructive microsurgery.
• 5 years progressive experience, including physician leadership and mentorship roles.
• UAE experience preferred.
• Fluency in English is mandatory and Arabic is preferred.
