responsible for performing reconstructive and cosmetic surgical procedures to enhance or restore a patient’s appearance and physical function. This role involves evaluating patients, planning surgeries, and providing comprehensive pre- and post-operative care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures
  • Evaluate patients and discuss surgical options, risks, and expected outcomes
  • Develop individualized treatment and surgical plans
  • Perform pre-operative assessments and obtain informed consent
  • Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery
  • Manage surgical complications and provide follow-up care
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical staff
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Adhere to medical ethics, safety protocols, and hospital policies

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
  • Postgraduate specialization in Plastic Surgery
  • Valid medical license to practice
  • Board certification preferred (where applicable)

Experience

  • Experience in cosmetic and/or reconstructive procedures preferred
  • Experience in hospital or accredited surgical center settings
