Plastic Surgery Patient Coordinator & Clinical Assistant

Plastic Surgery Patient Coordinator & Clinical Assistant
Reflections | Tarpon Springs & Clearwater
Reflections is seeking a polished, patient-focused Clinical Assistant who thrives at the intersection of clinical care, patient education, and aesthetic consultation.
This is not a traditional medical assistant’s role. You will partner closely with our board-certified plastic surgeon to guide patients through their aesthetic journey, from initial consultation through surgical coordination, delivering a high-touch, concierge-level experience.
If you enjoy building trust with patients, educating them on transformative procedures, and helping them confidently move forward, this role offers a unique opportunity to blend clinical skills with elevated patient experience.

What You’ll Do
Patient Consultation & Experience
  • Guide patients through consultations, helping them understand procedures, outcomes, and next steps
  • Build trust and rapport with patients considering aesthetic treatments and surgery
  • Provide education on procedures, recovery, and expectations
  • Support treatment plan acceptance through clear, confident communication
  • Deliver a high-end, concierge-style experience at every stage of the patient journey
Surgical Coordination & Care Continuity
  • Coordinate surgical scheduling, pre-operative, and post-operative care
  • Serve as a consistent point of contact for patients throughout their experience
  • Reinforce physician recommendations and ensure patient readiness
  • Manage follow-up communication, questions, and ongoing patient needs
Clinical & Procedural Support
  • Assist the physician during exams, consultations, and in-office procedures
  • Prepare and maintain procedure rooms with strict adherence to sterile technique
  • Perform clinical tasks such as suture removal, dressing changes, and documentation
  • Maintain accurate EMR records and clinical correspondence

What We’re Looking For
Required:
  • Experience in a patient-facing or client-facing role with a strong emphasis on service and communication
  • Proven ability to build trust, guide conversations, and support decision-making
  • Professional presence with a polished, high-touch approach to service
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
  • Experience in plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, dermatology, or a related clinical setting
  • Experience in beauty, wellness, or luxury service environments (e.g., med spa, aesthetics, hospitality, high-end retail)
  • Background in surgical coordination, case management, or consult-driven roles
  • Exposure to patient education, treatment planning, or consult conversion

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:
  • Enjoy building relationships with patients, not just supporting clinical tasks
  • Are comfortable discussing aesthetic procedures with both confidence and empathy
  • Can balance clinical detail with warmth and emotional intelligence
  • Take ownership of the full patient experience, from consultation to post-operative care
  • Are energized by helping patients move forward with meaningful, personal decisions
