Plastic Surgery Postoperative Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Part-Time

The Rose Clinic, one of Utah’s premier cosmetic plastic surgery practices, is seeking an experienced part-time APRN, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team. This position is dedicated to the care and management of postoperative plastic surgery patients and requires exceptional clinical judgment, superb communication skills, and a passion for delivering a true white-glove patient experience.

This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who enjoys building relationships with patients and guiding them through their postoperative journey while providing outstanding, concierge-level care.

Required Qualifications

* Current Utah APRN, NP, or PA-C license in good standing.

* Active DEA license required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing postoperative patients.
• Previous plastic surgery experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with wound assessment and wound care management.

* Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

* Ability to independently identify and appropriately manage postoperative concerns and complications.

* Superb communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

* Warm, compassionate bedside manner with a commitment to delivering concierge-level care.

* Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the surgeon and clinical team.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in cosmetic surgery, facial plastics, dermatology, or aesthetics is highly desirable.

* Familiarity with cosmetic procedures and postoperative recovery protocols.

* Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

* Evaluate and manage postoperative plastic surgery patients.

* Conduct 1-month and 3-month postoperative follow-up visits, assessing healing, surgical outcomes, and patient satisfaction.

* Perform wound assessments and provide appropriate wound care management.

* Provide comprehensive patient education and postoperative guidance.

* Identify and appropriately address postoperative concerns and complications.

* Collaborate closely with the surgeon to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.

* Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.

* Deliver an exceptional, concierge-level white-glove patient experience with professionalism, warmth, and compassion.

Please Note

This is a part-time position and is not an entry-level role. Candidates with previous plastic surgery experience, wound care experience, and a proven ability to independently manage postoperative patients will be given priority consideration. Applicants without at least three years of postoperative patient care experience will not be considered.
