To help fulfill this mission, we are seeking a warm, energetic, and enthusiastic part-time Play Assistant/Party Host.

Higlights:

• Perfect party time job with 10-15 hours
• Flexible Scheduling, both weekdays and weekends needed.

In this role, you will:

• Provide stellar customer service and hospitality to our guests, while proactively anticipating customer needs
• Support building our community by engaging with members and building relationships with families visiting our space, becoming a friendly and familiar face
• Educate customers about our offerings, including our play area and admission options, birthday parties and other events, memberships, and specialty activities.
• Greet customers, check customers in, and handle purchases through our Point of Sale system
• Clean and maintain an enjoyable play environment by regularly picking up toys and sanitizing play equipment, and monitoring and engaging with children utilizing our play area
• Help maintain our high standards for cleanliness and safety across the entire facility, including the café area, play area, party area, and restrooms
• Serve as a party host on an as-needed basis depending on scheduling needs and availability.

Role Requirements:

• Must have weekday and weekend availability (AM/PM)
• Prior work experience in hospitality, early childhood activities, or another related field is highly preferred. Training will be provided for all functions.
• Warm, friendly, and pleasant demeanor, especially when interacting with children and caregivers
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once while maintaining an even keel in a busy environment
• Growth mindset and desire to learn new skills on the job
• The ideal hire is responsible, prompt, loves spending time with children and interacting with customers, and has a high sense of urgency, with comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and desire to provide a white-glove event experience for our host families and their guests
• Organize materials needed for each party ahead of time to ensure a smooth setup process.
• Set up and breakdown of party area before and after each party, including plates, napkins, cups, centerpieces, party backdrops, and balloon decor
• Monitor the play area to ensure safety protocols and play area rules are respected by all guests
• Keep parties on schedule, ensuring setup, cleanup and the party are delivered on our timed schedule
• Parties are hosted Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Additional working hours may be required for party planning, setup and cleanup.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
