Play Studio Associate – The Fun Bug

Overview

The Fun Bug is a welcoming play studio and coffee spot designed for families with young children. We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and hardworking Play Studio Associate who enjoys working in a fast-paced, family-centered environment. This role involves creating a clean, safe, and fun atmosphere for children while providing excellent service to parents and caregivers. The ideal candidate loves being around kids, takes initiative, and works well as part of a small team.

Responsibilities

• Greet families and create a warm, welcoming environment
• Operate the register and handle customer transactions
• Prepare simple coffee drinks and beverages
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the play studio, café area, and seating spaces
• Pick up and sanitize toys and play equipment regularly
• Monitor the play area to help ensure a safe and positive environment for children
• Restock café items, snacks, and supplies as needed
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Help with general organization and daily upkeep of the studio
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service to parents and caregivers

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with children, babysitting, teaching, or in childcare is a plus
• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
• Barista or café experience is helpful but not required
• Responsible, reliable, and punctual
• Comfortable working in a busy environment and staying organized
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Pay: $8.50 - $10.00 per hour
