Playground Equipment Installer – 1099 Contractor

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Playground Equipment Installers. This is a 1099 contractor position, perfect for self-motivated workers who enjoy hands-on, outdoor work and want to learn a specialized trade. Experience is not required – full training is provided for the right candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare job sites for playground installation, including measuring, leveling, digging, and clearing areas as needed
• Install playground equipment such as swing sets, slides, climbing structures, and safety surfacing according to project specifications
• Read and follow installation plans, blueprints, and manufacturer guidelines
• Assemble and secure equipment using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure all installations meet safety standards and are properly anchored and stable
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and clients onsite
• Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality workmanship

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, dig, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to travel to job sites within the assigned area
• No prior experience required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in construction, landscaping, or equipment assembly
• Familiarity with blueprints or technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of site preparation, grading, or concrete work
• Ability to work independently or as part of a small team
