PLC/ Controls Technician

Role & responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation systems including

AS/RS systems, multishuttles, conveyors (Flat and Hanger system), and control

panels.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair issues involving Siemens, Beckhoff, and Omron

PLCs and associated field devices.

• Monitor and report maintenance KPIs such as system availability, MTBF,

performance, downtime etc.

• Assist with root cause analysis (RCA) and create detailed maintenance reports for

recurring issues.

• Collaborate with internal teams and automation vendors and technical support to

resolve complex system issues.

• Use and maintain CMMS for logging maintenance tasks, scheduling preventive

maintenance, and tracking spare parts usage.

• Comply with health, safety, and quality standards, including lockout/tagout

procedures and risk assessments.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics, Automation, Control Systems.

• Experience: 0 to 3 years in a PLC maintenance/ service or automation role

(preferrable in an automated warehouse or logistics environment.)

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of HMI/SCADA, VFDs, I/O systems, and safety devices.

Hands on experience of SCADA (Siemens WinCC) /HMI tools and performing

program backups and restorations.
