PLC Maintenance & Troubleshooting Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled PLC Maintenance & Troubleshooting Engineer to handle day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement activities of PLC-based automation machines. The role involves ensuring high machine uptime, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications

• B.E – Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
• B.E – Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PLC machine troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Carry out repairs, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance for automation machines.
• Ensure machine uptime as per planned targets through systematic maintenance approaches.
• Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM), Time-Based Maintenance (TBM), and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM).
• Track and improve Uptime, MTTR, and MTBF to meet departmental KPIs.
• Ensure spares planning and coordinate with maintenance stores.
• Maintain PLC & HMI backups, traceability servers, and related software securely.
• Integrate and enforce safety principles and safe operating practices at all times.
• Adhere to IATF and ISO 14001 standards and applicable processes.
• Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Skills & Knowledge Required

• Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC & HMI programming and troubleshooting
• (Siemens S7-300, S7-1200, S7-1500)
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydro-pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Experience in modifying pneumatic circuits for automation requirements.
• Knowledge of maintenance of PLC-based and PC-based machines.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts such as Traceability systems and OEE monitoring.
• Experience in maintaining barcode scanners, barcode printers, and vision systems.
• Working knowledge of SAP – PM module.
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
