Job Title: PLC Programmer
Location: Dubai
Salary: AED 3,500 (8 Hours Duty)

Reports to: Technical Manager / Engineering Supervisor
Job Purpose
To design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based automation systems to ensure smooth operations, system reliability, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities Programming & Automation
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, etc.).
- Design and implement automation solutions based on operational requirements.
- Integrate PLCs with SCADA, HMI, VFDs, sensors, and other control devices.
- Ensure programs comply with company and industry standards.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Conduct regular inspections of automation systems.
- Diagnose control system faults and perform immediate corrective actions.
- Minimize equipment downtime through timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain backup copies of all PLC/HMI programs.
Technical Support
- Provide technical support to operations, maintenance, and production teams.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new control systems.
- Coordinate with external vendors for technical issues when required.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare detailed technical reports on breakdowns, corrective actions, and program updates.
- Maintain records of system changes, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Update SOPs related to control systems.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety and Dubai regulatory standards.
- Follow company HSE procedures when handling electrical and automation equipment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3-year Diploma in EEE or B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a PLC Programmer.
- Strong knowledge of ladder logic, function block, and structured text programming.
- Experience with industrial automation systems, sensors, actuators, and control panels.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions
- 8-hour duty per day.

- Occasional overtime depending on operational needs.
