Plow truck driver/sidewalk operator

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver, where your driving skills and mechanical knowledge will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service! You will be responsible for transporting materials and equipment to various job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of your vehicle. Your expertise in landscape maintenance and construction will be invaluable as you contribute to our projects, making a tangible impact on our community.

What you’ll do

• Safely operate and maintain company trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport landscaping materials, tools, and equipment to job sites efficiently and punctually.
• Perform routine inspections and basic mechanical maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, tree trimming, and irrigation setup when needed.
• Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects, providing support in hardscape installation and gardening activities.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and excavators effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
• Participate in snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and project progress.

Basic qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with construction practices and hardscape installation techniques.
• Proficient in using various power tools and hand tools related to landscaping tasks.
