PL/SQL Developer

5-10 Years of Experience

Work Location: Hyderabad & Pune

Core Responsibilities:

• PL/SQL Development: Designing, developing, and implementing high-quality PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
• SQL Development and Optimization: Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for performance, handling large volumes of data, and performing data manipulation.
• Database Design and Management: Working with database administrators to design and implement efficient database structures, creating and managing database schemas and objects.
• Performance Tuning: Identifying and resolving performance issues in PL/SQL code and SQL queries, utilizing techniques like bulk binding, advanced collection concepts, and execution plan analysis.
• Collaboration and Support: Working closely with cross-functional teams (analysts, testers, other developers), gathering requirements from clients, and providing support for database-related issues.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for PL/SQL code, database structures, and development processes.
• Testing: Developing and executing unit tests for PL/SQL code and collaborating with quality assurance teams for system testing.

Key Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong technical knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Understanding of database design principles and normalization.
• Familiarity with tools like SQL*Loader for data migration.
• Ability to work in Agile environments.
• Exposure to ETL tools and reporting technologies (beneficial).
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
