Plug and Mold Detailer / Finisher

Candidate is responsible for spraying, sanding, and buffing primer and gelcoat on plugs/patterns and molds. Experience in boat finishing/detailing and plug/pattern building is required for ideal candidates.

Job Duties

• Sanding and preparing plugs/patterns for surfacing primer
• Sanding, buffing, and polishing plugs/patterns up to a high gloss
• Inspection of the molds to determine what repairs are needed
• Repair surface defects in gel coat (scratches, voids, surface distortion, etc.)
• Mixing and spraying gel coat and resins needed for repairs
• Use hand tools that include gelcoat spray equipment, grinders, buffers, drill or other specialty tools needed for repairs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
