Plumber

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks as required.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites.
• Handle heavy lifting as necessary during installation or repair tasks.
• Provide maintenance person services as needed for remodeling projects.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of plumbing techniques and practices.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing work.
• Experience with construction site operations and safety standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting plumbing issues effectively.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
• Experience in carpentry or remodeling can enhance versatility on the job.
