Plumber

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber to join our dynamic construction team with minimum 5 years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing work adheres to safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
• Use hand tools such as wrenches, pipe threaders, and pipe cutters, as well as power tools to complete installations efficiently.
• Perform welding and pipe threading tasks to connect metal pipes securely.
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation and repair processes.
• Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project activities on-site.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations throughout all phases of work.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning.
• Read schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot issues or modify existing systems.
• Assist with remodeling projects by assembling fixtures or rerouting plumbing lines as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for project documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing systems in commercial or residential settings.
• Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA standards.
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, threaders, and screwdrivers; familiarity with power tools is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Skills in welding and pipe threading are highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout tasks.
• Experience with HVAC systems or remodeling projects is a bonus.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site access or material transport roles.
• Maintenance Person experience or general construction background is advantageous for versatile project support.
