Plumber

Plumbers install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances, which includes tasks like fitting pipes, fixing leaks, and ensuring compliance with codes. They read blueprints, perform inspections, and respond to emergency plumbing issues. Key responsibilities also include diagnosing problems, providing cost estimates, and keeping detailed records of work performed. Installation and repair

• Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and appliances like sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
• Assemble and install water supply, drainage, and sewage systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building specifications to plan and execute work.

Maintenance and inspection

• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment to prevent issues.
• Inspect plumbing systems to identify problems like leaks and other issues.
• Test new installations and repairs to ensure they are working correctly.

Diagnosis and troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve plumbing emergencies and other problems.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues with water, drainage, and waste disposal systems.

Compliance and documentation

• Ensure all work complies with local and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Provide cost estimates for services to customers.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed, including materials used and job numbers.

Collaboration and communication

• Coordinate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, as needed.
• Communicate clearly with clients to explain problems, provide quotes, and get approval for work.
