Plumber

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction plumbing, pipe threading, and mechanical systems, with the ability to read schematics and blueprints. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including remodeling, commercial installations, and HVAC systems, contributing to high-quality infrastructure development. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work on construction sites.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines to complete tasks efficiently
• Perform remodeling tasks involving plumbing components and related carpentry work
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Assist with construction site setup, including heavy lifting and material handling
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades such as HVAC technicians and carpenters to ensure project completion
• Follow safety protocols on construction sites and adhere to building codes and regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in construction plumbing, pipe threading, and schematic reading
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical systems
• Strong knowledge of construction site safety standards and building codes
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of HVAC systems and general remodeling processes
• Physical strength for heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installation or repairs
• Experience with carpentry, assembly, maintenance person tasks, or remodeling projects is a plus
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience in commercial driving is advantageous
• Familiarity with schematics related to plumbing or HVAC systems enhances job performance
