Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and modifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
• Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for pipe installation, remodeling projects, or system upgrades.
• Conduct system inspections to identify issues related to HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) components or plumbing fixtures.
• Collaborate with construction teams including carpenters and HVAC specialists to coordinate project timelines and specifications.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously while working with schematics and mechanical systems in various environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of pipe threading, welding, and assembly techniques.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices along with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for plumbing installation and repairs.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical specifications.
• Experience with remodeling projects or handyman work is a plus; familiarity with HVAC systems is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or site access as required; additional certifications in welding or HVAC are desirable. Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
