Responsibilities

• Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, thread, assemble, and secure plumbing components.
• Perform welding and pipe threading tasks to ensure leak-proof connections.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and HVAC technicians to coordinate project tasks.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems for quality assurance and compliance with safety regulations.
• Lift heavy materials safely and efficiently while maintaining proper ergonomic practices on-site.

Skills

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and installation techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and general mechanical principles related to plumbing.
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work.
