Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and appliances using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks with precision to ensure secure connections.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems on construction sites to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC teams to coordinate project timelines and specifications.
• Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning during installations.
• Lift heavy materials safely and operate construction equipment as needed for large-scale projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction plumbing or related field with a solid understanding of plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with welding techniques, pipe threading, schematics reading, and mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely.
• Experience working on commercial or large-scale projects with a focus on remodeling or new construction.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site access or material transport.
• Handyman experience or background in assembly and remodeling is a plus.
