Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Candidates should possess relevant experience and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues with plumbing systems and determine appropriate solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent future problems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Assist with carpentry or assembly tasks related to plumbing installations when necessary.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting materials or equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to minimise risks on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.
- Proficiency with plumbing techniques, welding, carpentry, and mechanical knowledge.
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as welding apparatus.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving if required for site access or material transportation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to quality workmanship, safety standards, and continuous professional development in the field of plumbing.

Pay: £22.00-£23.00 per hour
