The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Subcontractor Plumber to join us on a subcontract basis, to help us during busy periods. You’ll be working independently on a variety of jobs, including:

• Small plumbing maintenance (taps, toilets, leaks, radiators, etc.)
• Boilers services and repairs
• Some installations (bathrooms, radiators, boilers, etc.)
• Completing 2–3 smaller jobs per day or 1 larger project, depending on schedule

• £250 day rate (8am-4.30pm), paid weekly
• Scope for higher rates of pay once established and trained on quoting/invoicing

Requirements

• Experienced plumber (3+ years preferred) with strong maintenance and fault-finding skills
• Independent problem-solving ability
• Capable of making on-the-job decisions to keep customers happy
• Able to identify and purchase required materials to complete jobs
• Must be fully insured
• Own van and tools
• Professional attitude and excellent customer service skills
• Gas Safe not essential, but an advantage
• Willingness to learn quoting/invoicing systems (training provided)
