Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be proficient in various related tasks. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and physical stamina to ensure efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues within plumbing systems.
• Assemble and install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople for projects requiring carpentry or mechanical knowledge.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks as required during installations or repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
• Ability to perform carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations.
• Valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation of materials to job sites.
