Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction plumbing, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems, with the ability to work on commercial and residential projects. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The Plumber will also collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, HVAC, and welding to complete projects efficiently and effectively. The plumber must posses a valid drivers license, and be insurable under our company commercial insurance for our vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in new construction, remodeling, and repair projects.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding equipment to complete tasks accurately.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites.
- Measure and cut pipes accurately using appropriate tools; assemble piping systems according to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining safety standards.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to OSHA safety regulations at all times.
- Equipment operation when necessary, backhoe, trackhoe, ect.....
Skills
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, pipe threading,, and use of hand tools and power tools.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, HVAC systems, and mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret schematics for installation or repair work.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in plumbing installation.
- Skilled in heavy lifting, remodeling tasks, carpentry skills, and maintenance person experience.
- Ability to work on construction sites with diverse teams; experience with construction site safety protocols is preferred.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (preferred) for transporting materials or equipment when necessary.
