Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our team and gain hands-on experience in plumbing and construction. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to develop essential skills in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair within a dynamic construction environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, reliable, and interested in building a career in the plumbing trade. Prior construction or maintenance person experience is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations.
• Support tasks such as pipe cutting, fitting, assembly, and remodeling projects.
• Help with site preparation, cleanup, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Gain experience in mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, system troubleshooting, and field service operations.
• Assist with carpentry tasks as needed for remodeling or maintenance projects.

Skills

• Basic understanding of construction processes and site safety practices.
• Familiarity with construction plumbing, schematics, blueprints reading, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and basic welding equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems or maintenance person experience is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning plumbing techniques and maintenance procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to piping and system layouts.
