Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Plumber to join our fast‑paced construction team. In this role, you will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential project sites. You’ll ensure all work meets safety codes, aligns with project blueprints, and operates efficiently. This position offers the chance to work on diverse builds—from remodels to ground‑up construction—while applying your mechanical expertise and hands‑on problem‑solving skills to deliver high‑quality results.
Duties
- Plumbing system installation — Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, valves, and related systems on active construction sites.
- Blueprint interpretation — Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute accurate plumbing layouts.
- Tool and equipment operation — Use hand tools, power tools, pipe‑threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and secure plumbing components.
- Material handling — Safely lift, move, and position materials and equipment while following all site safety protocols.
- Cross‑trade collaboration — Work closely with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to maintain project timelines and workflow.
- Remodeling and upgrades — Replace, reroute, or upgrade existing plumbing infrastructure during renovation projects.
- Troubleshooting — Diagnose mechanical issues using basic math, mechanical knowledge, and systematic problem‑solving.
Qualifications
- Construction plumbing experience with strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Technical proficiency in welding, pipe threading, blueprint reading, and the use of hand and power tools.
- Mechanical and HVAC familiarity is a plus.
- Blueprint literacy for precise installation and layout execution.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and work in heights, tight spaces, or variable site conditions.
- Valid driver’s license; commercial driving experience preferred.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting.
- Handyman or remodeling experience is beneficial for versatile project support.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
