Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our family run business based in Dawlish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of settings, including residential and commercial. They must have experience in Bathroom Installations. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with a range of tools and materials. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring safety standards are met at all times.

Responsibilities

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised machinery to complete tasks efficiently.
• Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent future problems.
• Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repairs.
• Applying mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems promptly.
• Assisting with carpentry or assembly tasks related to plumbing projects when necessary.
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Maintaining a clean work environment and documenting completed work accurately.

Experience

• Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair within residential or commercial settings.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other relevant machinery.
• Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems is essential.
• Experience with basic maths for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs.
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques can be advantageous for certain projects.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely is required.
• Valid driving licence for commercial driving may be preferred depending on project requirements.
• Prior experience in assembly tasks or working with specialised equipment is beneficial but not mandatory.
