We are seeking a Plumber (Fitout Works) who will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of all plumbing systems and sanitary fixtures during interior fitout and renovation projects. The role includes executing tasks according to approved drawings, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and coordinating with other trades to deliver high-quality installations within specified project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret plumbing drawings, layouts, and specifications for fitout projects.
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, sanitary drainage, vent systems, and fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc.).
- Carry out copper, PVC, PPR, and GI pipe installations according to project requirements.
- Perform leak testing, pressure testing, and system commissioning.
- Coordinate with other trades (HVAC, electrical, civil, and carpentry teams) to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure all plumbing works comply with local codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Identify material requirements and assist in preparing material requests.
- Troubleshoot and rectify plumbing issues during and after installation.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on-site.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma / ITI / Technical Certificate in Plumbing or Mechanical field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a plumber, preferably in fitout or interior construction projects.
- Experience in both residential and commercial fitout works is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation procedures, and local regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Proficient in using plumbing tools, testing instruments, and materials.
- Basic understanding of safety practices and site procedures.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Plumbing license or certification (if required by local authority).
- Basic HSE or first aid training certification.
- Strong knowledge of water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
- Ability to read plumbing schematics and coordination drawings.
- Skilled in soldering, threading, pipe cutting, and jointing techniques.
- Experience using testing equipment for pressure and leakage checks.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Problem-solving and time management skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Valid plumbing license (if applicable).
- Basic HSE / first aid training.
