Plumber - New Construction

In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in newly built residential structures. Your expertise will help ensure that all plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems according to project plans.
• Install pipes, fixtures, and appliances using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment with precision and safety.
• Perform welding and pipe fitting tasks to connect plumbing components securely in accordance with construction standards.
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing installation on construction sites.
• Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation efforts seamlessly.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work essential for accurate pipe placement.
• Follow safety protocols diligently while working at heights or in confined spaces; ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields such as remodeling or handyman work.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, schematics, and blueprint reading.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment.
• Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and OSHA standards.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday.
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of HVAC systems and basic plumbing principles.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
