Plumber / Pipefitter

£40,000 – £50,000 + Package | Permanent Position

An established Mechanical & Electrical contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Plumber / Pipefitter to support continued growth across the business. The company delivers projects throughout the UK across a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Logistics, Healthcare, High-End Residential, Food Production, and Data Centres.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out plumbing and pipefitting installations across a variety of commercial and industrial projects, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Install plumbing and pipework systems on commercial and industrial projects
• Carry out installation of heating, chilled water, copper, steel, and sanitary pipework
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Work closely with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades on site
• Ensure all installations are completed in line with current regulations and company standards
• Carry out testing, commissioning, and fault finding where required
• Maintain high standards of health & safety on site
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Plumber / Pipefitter within the M&E or construction sector
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent
• CSCS skill card required
• Experience working on commercial or industrial projects
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Strong understanding of mechanical installations and site procedures
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
