Plumber / Plumber Helper

Job Overview
We are urgently seeking a reliable and hardworking Plumber or Plumbing Helper to join Wolf Plumbing's team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone looking to pursue a career in plumbing to learn from an experienced plumber with more than 12 years of experience. The work will be largely focused on commercial construction, although there is some residential and repair work as well. You will assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while gaining hands-on experience and training in construction plumbing. We are looking for someone who is a fast learner, and who is looking to commit to a long-term growth opportunity.

Note: Although an experienced plumber is preferred, it is not required. Basic construction experience, such as dealing with tools and equipment, as well as being able to calculate measurements, are requirements. Pay will be dependent on prior experience

Duties

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment to cut, assemble, and install pipes according to blueprints and schematics.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
• Support welding tasks when required for pipe connections or structural modifications.
• Conduct basic math calculations for measurements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or training in construction or plumbing is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and work are essential.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and basic mechanical concepts.
• Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. (preferrable)
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, shoveling, standing for long periods, and working at heights or confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license with driving experience hauling a trailer is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Handyman experience or carpentry skills are beneficial for versatile project support.
• Professionally conducts themselves in dealing with coworkers and clientele.
