Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber (plumber multi is a bonus) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing, with the ability to handle various tasks related to installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and knowledge and capability to handle other trades such as basic carpentry, tilling and other related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential housing association properties.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Installation of bathrooms, kitchen fitting plumbing tasks and wet rooms.
- Perform assembly work on plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Carry out carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all work activities.
- Use basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.
- Drive own vehicle when necessary to transport tools and materials to job sites.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements:
- Strong fault-finding skills and a customer-focused attitude
- CSCS Card (not mandatory)
- Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry, social housing experience is beneficial.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Familiarity with new bathroom and kitchen fitting.
- Strong leak detection and resolution skills required.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment relevant to plumbing work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- A valid driving licence is essential with own vehicle and tools.

Pay: £160.00-£220.00 per day
