Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment on commercial and residential sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications
• Perform pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly to ensure leak-free connections in complex piping networks
• Conduct welding and mechanical tasks to secure fixtures and repair damaged plumbing components
• Assist with remodeling projects by removing old systems, installing new fixtures, and ensuring compliance with building codes
• Operate heavy lifting equipment safely for transporting pipes and materials around construction sites
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues using schematic diagrams and mechanical knowledge for efficient problem-solving

Experience

• Proven construction site experience with a focus on plumbing or related trades
• Hands-on experience with construction plumbing, pipe threading, welding, and schematic reading
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and general mechanical principles beneficial but not required
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in physically demanding environments
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical specifications
• Knowledge of carpentry or handyman skills that support plumbing installation or remodeling tasks
• Valid commercial driver’s license preferred for transporting materials between sites
