Plumber Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites and commercial projects. Your expertise in construction plumbing, pipe threading, welding, and mechanical systems will ensure that all plumbing operations meet safety standards and project specifications. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment on construction sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
• Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks to ensure secure and efficient piping systems.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing installations to verify compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Assist with remodeling projects by integrating plumbing components seamlessly into existing structures.
• Operate heavy lifting equipment and perform manual labor required for large-scale construction plumbing tasks.
• Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate work efforts on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields with a strong understanding of plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and general mechanical principles is a plus.
• Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols and site logistics.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces comfortably.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical data.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred; handyman or remodeling experience is advantageous.
