Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment on various job sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts.
• Perform pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly to ensure leak-proof connections and optimal system performance.
• Conduct welding tasks when necessary to join metal pipes or components securely.
• Assist with remodeling projects by applying carpentry skills and handyman experience for seamless integration of plumbing with other building systems.
• Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to transport materials and equipment around construction sites.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously while working on construction sites, including HVAC systems and other mechanical installations.
• Must have own tools and truck, and be willing to travel 100% of the time.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques, schematics, and blueprint reading.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on plumbing installation and repairs.
• Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, piping layouts, and remodeling projects.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in demanding environments.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during installations.
• Familiarity with construction safety standards and site protocols; commercial driving license is a plus.

Pay: $28.52 - $33.92 per hour
