We are an established and growing multi-trades construction company. Our work covers a variety of sites over the two subsections of our company, Re-letting and Re-build. We value dependability, strong work ethics, and are looking for a plumber/gas engineer willing to join our team and deliver a high-quality product for our customers.

Role

Most of your work will be undertaken for Re-letting. This side of our company provides maintenance for rental properties with jobs ranging from small repairs to full refits during renovations. The rest of the role will be on our large-scale residential projects for Re-build. This work is on a far larger scale and constitutes the installation of full heating and plumbing systems. Due to the varied nature of the work, one may be required to complete multiple jobs a day or be on site for weeks at a time.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out a variety of plumbing gas and heating works across letting properties and large-scale residential projects.

Installing and maintaining gas and electric heating systems in domestic properties.

Work in properties with tenants present, providing them with any relevant information whilst working in a professional and clean manner.

Knowledge and use of modern tools, equipment, and systems while working on current health and safety practices.

Work alone or as part of a team to solve issues and effectively complete tasks.

Work with site managers and sub-contractors, providing advice and guidance regarding plumbing and heating issues. Helping to reach the best solution.

Use experience to diagnose and ten to resolve any faults to gas safety standards.

Provide clear reports of work completed to the team, noting any issues solved and providing the next steps.

Install, troubleshoot and fix drainage and plumbing works in kitchens and bathrooms.

Certifications, skills and experiance

Gas safety register (Required)

NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Mechanical Services (or equivalent qualification) required).

2 years of gas safety and plumbing experience (preferred).

Full UK driving license (required).

Flexibility to work on a variety of tasks.

Knowledge and understanding of a variety of gas and electric heating systems.

Punctuality and organizational skills.

Excellent customer facing skills.

Pay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
