Plumber/Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber/Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and gas systems across a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
• Conduct gas system installations and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks effectively
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing and gas systems using technical knowledge
• Carry out routine inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
• Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related structures
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times during operations
• Operate commercial vehicles for transportation to various sites as required

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plumber or Gas Engineer with relevant certifications
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry techniques
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing and gas systems
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
• Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles (desirable)
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
