Plumber/Gas Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Plumbers/Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, ensuring that all installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards. The Plumber will be responsible for working on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, utilizing a range of tools and techniques to deliver exceptional service.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues and carry out necessary repairs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks effectively.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using appropriate techniques.
• Conduct heavy lifting as required for the installation of plumbing systems.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on site.

Online training

• must be willing to complete 7 basic Health and Safety online training courses prior to starting

Experience

• Proven experience as a Plumber/Gas Engineer or in a similar role is essential.
• Must have cooker/appliance certificate
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is required.
• Basic math's skills are necessary for measuring and calculating materials accurately.
• A valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: £18.00-£24.00 per hour
