Kas Energy Plumbing & Heating we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Gas Engineer to join our expanding team in Derbyshire and Nottingham. This is a permanent position offering excellent earning potential, ongoing training, and genuine career progression within a supportive and professional environment.
This role is suited to a qualified Gas Engineer with strong experience in domestic heating systems who is confident carrying out boiler installations, servicing, diagnostics, fault-finding, and general plumbing and heating maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, and convert domestic boilers and central heating systems.
- Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to a wide range of gas boilers, heating systems, and controls.
- Confidently wire boilers, Hive smart controls, and S-Plan heating systems.
- Undertake general plumbing and heating maintenance tasks when required.
- Ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Gas Safe regulations.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and always deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Complete all necessary documentation and certification in line with company procedures and industry standards.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and build positive relationships with customers.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent qualification).
- Gas Safe Registration with up-to-date ACS qualifications.
- Proven experience in boiler installations, servicing, and fault-finding.
- Strong technical knowledge of heating controls, including Hive and S-Plan systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own hand tools (company will provide van and power tools).
- Strong communication skills with a professional and reliable work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
